I’m back from Beijing since late August. In Berkeley now. Lately, I’ve mainly been thinking about AI safety and societal resilience. Of course, I have still been studying lots of math; most recently computability and formal logic. Pure mathematics is looking more and more like a purely recreational activity lately, however. I still code for fun too!

I traveled a lot during the summer and I’ve generally been trying to do a little less work and enjoy life more.
