  Spectacular guitar work. Beaches is so fun to play. This Is How Tomorrow Moves is very good in general, actually.

• Ryo Fukui

  I Want To Talk About You is good.

• Kendrick Lamar

• Polyphia

  Virtuostic guitar work + trap beats and hip-hop production. Listen to The Worst, Ego Death, and the rest of Remember That You Will Die. My biggest flex is that I can actually play one of their riffs.

• No Party for Cao Dong (草東沒有派對)

  The best of Taiwanese indie mandopop. A little-known song by them is the first track in Devotion’s original soundtrack. Super progressive (in the rock sense).

• 凛として時雨

  Best known for lead singer TK’s Unravel, the Tokyo Ghoul OST (not actually created as part of 凛として時雨). But the band’s previous work is even better. Listen to moment A rhythm.

• Dire Straits

  Money for Nothing, Espresso Love, and of course Sultans of Swing.

• Yorushika

  My favorite J-Pop/Rock-ish band. I like almost all their songs.
